LEARN THE ROPES

Making a climate video is easy
Keep it short and snappy, everyone will be happy!
Introduce yourself or the topic, why climate change is important to you.
Hot tips on how to collect a good Climate Story.
Find the person - think of someone who’s seen it all (old people), experts (climate scientists, firefighters), people connected to land (Indigenous people), people who care (young people, farmers).
Be friendly and put people at ease, maybe share one of your own stories to warm them up.

Ask open-ended questions
Tell me a story about climate change?
How does climate change affect you?
What differences have you seen around here?

Extend yourself
Still photos, music and editing can all enhance your video story.
Any photos and videos under the Creative Commons license can be used in your story. Just make sure you recognise the author.
